Hayton Farms Berries
Hayton Farms is a family farm that was established in 1876 by Thomas Hayton. Originally, the farm cultivated grain for workhorses, but in the early 1900’s J. B. Hayton, converted the farm into dairy and later his son, Leroy Hayton, transitioned the dairy to crop farming. The Hayton family has continued that tradition by growing potatoes, cauliflower, cucumbers, wheat, and berries. As each preceding generation passes the farm to the next, so too passes the responsibility of continuing sustainability, adaptation, and tradition.
